Asia HY Trade Book - September 2021 - Lucror Analytics

Central China Real Estate's (CCRE) latest investor update was less reassuring that we hoped for. In particular, the company’s strategy to repay maturing debt in 2021 and 2022 using internal cash suggests that it could be facing difficulties obtaining external funding sources. We believe CCRE’s liquidity is still adequate in the near term, supported by its existing cash balance and robust reported cash collections. That said, we believe the company could face refinancing risks in the medium term, especially if it is still unable to access financing. In addition, we have concerns about management’s corporate governance.
