<ul>
<li>With the 2021 futures expiring in 2 weeks, the focus now shifts to the HSCEI dividend futures expiring in 2022 where we see a fair value of 240.76 DIPS.</li>
<li>The current market is trading very close to our fair value for 2022 but there are a lot of potential catalysts that could result in a big move lower.</li>
<li>There are fewer catalysts for the 2022 futures to move higher. The regulatory changes in China plus the HFCAA could lead to the 2023 futures trading cheaper to 2022.</li>

<li>There are quite a few stocks that should be included following their listing over the last couple of months while others are now potential inclusions after passing the velocity test.</li>
<li>Quite a few of the potential deletions from the HSCI and Stock Connect have large holdings via Southbound Stock Connect and these stock could see some selling.</li>

<li>Buy in support levels in our Asia long group have been met - ASX, Taiwan, HSCEI. Korea is massaging into a wave 5 with clear headwinds at 400.</li>
<li>Our short group met targets to reduce at NKY 27,500, HSI 23,100 with India still reaching for the 16,700 PT.</li>
<li>Our cycle work called for a low near Late November and choppy rise into mid-December only to be followed by a bigger fallout in late December.</li>
</ul>


Buy in support levels in our Asia long group have been met - ASX, Taiwan, HSCEI. Korea is massaging into a wave 5 with clear headwinds at 400.
Our short group met targets to reduce at NKY 27,500, HSI 23,100 with India still reaching for the 16,700 PT.
Our cycle work called for a low near Late November and choppy rise into mid-December only to be followed by a bigger fallout in late December.

<li>The largest passive outflows as a result of capping will be on <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/meituan-dianping" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:26970:1" rel="noopener">Meituan (3690 HK)</a> and <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/tencent-holdings-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:26:1" rel="noopener">Tencent (700 HK)</a> due to their weight exceeding 8% in all three indices.</li>
<li>There are large funding outflows (in terms of days of ADV to trade) on quite a few Hong Kong property stocks as well as stocks from the financials sector.</li>
</ul>


The December rebalance of the HSI, HSCEI and HSTECH indices will use today's closing prices to cap the index constituents at 8%. This will lead to large flows.

<li>Using prices from the close on 19 November to cap the stocks, estimated one-way turnover at the rebalance is 4.50% and will result in a one-way trade of HK$3,208m.</li>

Using prices from the close on 19 November to cap the stocks, estimated one-way turnover at the rebalance is 4.50% and will result in a one-way trade of HK$3,208m.
Short interest on Innovent Biologics Inc (1801 HK) is over 8 days of ADV and short covering could take the stock higher in the short-term versus its peers.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index is a free-float capitalization-weighted index comprised of H-Shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and included in the Hang Seng Mainland Composite Index. The base value of this index is 2000 as of Jan 3, 2000. This index replaced the old HSCE index on Oct. 3, 2001.
