<p>It is well recognised that the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) growth in China (and elsewhere for that matter) has been fueled by subsidies with the governments competing to burnish their 'green' credentials. The central government has announced the plan to reduce the subsidy for NEV in a phased manner out to 2020.
