When we began writing about Spotify's most recent quarter, it was meant to be more bullish...hey, despite a steep drop in usage reported due to shifting consumer behavioral patterns of music listening (commutes/cars vs. in-home), Spotify's business was suprisingly strong in 1Q20, and despite a modest revenue guide down for 2020, things seem to be OK. Its just that....well, the business model stinks. We think its a good entry point on the short side. </p><div class="content-highlight"><p>Obex’s fundamental research process is focused on secular change in the TMT and Consumer sectors.
