In our view, Alam Sutera’s Q2/20 results were better than expected, with revenue and earnings growth despite it being perhaps the most challenging quarter for Indonesia real estate firms. Performance was driven by higher-margin land-lot sales. That said, this could only partly compensate for the dismal Q1. Leverage and coverage ratios deteriorated significantly, with liquidity inadequate due to refinancing risk for the USD 115 mn 2021 Notes.
