Optiscan Imaging Limited is a proprietor of patents which enable a confocal microscope to be miniaturized to the point where a confocal endomicroscope is made possible. The process enables living tissue to be examined non-invasively at a cellular level, opening up the possibilities for non-invasive disease monitoring and diagnosis.
