TML Holdings Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors (TMTT), yesterday commenced a series of investor calls to market its offering of USD RegS benchmark-size 3.5NC2.5 Notes. The Notes will feature a letter of comfort, but no guarantee, from TMTT. Being issued out of TML Holdings, they will be structurally subordinated to the USD Notes issued directly out of Jaguar Land Rover. The proposed Notes will be benchmarked against the existing TTMTIN curve. In that light, we see the Initial Price Guidance of 6% as a little expensive, considering the proposed Notes' weaker structure and a new-issue premium.
