Asia HY Monthly - LARA And Credit Bias Study (2020 Update) - Lucror Analytics

Tunas Baru’s Q2 and H1/20 results were acceptable, with robust revenue growth. The company benefited from a surge in demand for essential consumer products amid COVID-19. However, profitability weakened, as margins for refined palm oil products are lower than those for upstream CPO (albeit usually more stable). The company continued to generate negative FCF, as capex and working capital outflows were persistently higher than expected. Leverage remains moderately weak, with Net Debt/EBITDA at 3.8x (FYE 2019: 3.7x).

  Tunas Baru’s Q2 and H1/20 results were acceptable, with robust revenue growth. The company benefited from a surge in demand for essential consumer products amid COVID-19. However, profitability weakened, as margins for refined palm oil products are lower than those for upstream CPO (albeit usually more stable).
