<li>Treasuries climbed yesterday, as the market pared expectations of a Donald Trump victory in the US presidential election after a weekend poll surprisingly showed current Vice-President Kamala Harris with a narrow lead in Iowa (a state comfortably won by Mr Trump in 2016 and 2020). This was partly offset by a soft auction for 3Y notes. The UST curve bull-flattened, with the yield on the 2Y UST falling 5 bps to 4.16% and the 10Y down 10 bps at 4.29%.</li>
