Asia HY Trade Recommendations - August 2020 - Lucror Analytics

Yanlord Land reported H1/20 results that were within expectations. This was supported by increased revenue, which was in line with past contracted sales growth. We expect revenue recognition to pick up further, given the strong YTD sales. The company’s gross margin contracted slightly but remains strong compared to peers at 36%. Leverage metrics were broadly stable, and the value of the investment property portfolio rose despite lower rental income against the backdrop of COVID-19. In addition, we view positively management’s improved communications, with more detailed disclosures on land acquisition spending and contracted sales.
