The core of the portfolio is chosen from a group of fifteen asset classes. A few stock specific asymmetrical investment opportunities comprise the satellite segment. ANTYA invests only in global, large capitalization, and investment grade companies.

<p>Indian banks are dealing with multiple issues, none of which are easily resolvable. However, the recent decline in GOI bond yields has given the banks a temporary reprieve, and in our view, most banks could surprise to the upside when Q4-F18 results are reported. The massive bond hoardes in available for sale portfolios, which impacted some of the banks negatively in Q3-F18, would be marked upwards, realising investment gains on the income statement. The longer term story is less sanguine.</p>

The Indian Conundrum - A Growing Economy & Stagnant Bank Credit

<p>The Reserve Bank of India upheld the status-quo by maintaining the liquidity adjustment facility rate at 6%. However, the vote was not unanimous, with one member on the committee voting for an increase to 6.25%. The tone of the monetary policy statement is cautious, and given tightening global credit conditions, if rates stay put the INR will depreciate putting additional pressure on already heightened inflation expectations. If rates rise it could dampen economic growth. Given that the central bank's primary job is inflation targeting first and the rest later, we advise erring on the side of caution.</p>
