Morning Views Asia: Anton Oilfield, Road King Infrastructure

Road King’s H1/20 results were slightly weaker than expected. Its gross margin continued to contract, resulting in lower EBITDA. Leverage metrics weakened marginally, with continued debt growth. Negatively, cash distributions from the toll road JVs were negligible, owing to the government’s suspension of toll collections amid COVID-19. It is unclear if the company can claim compensation from the government for the lost earnings. That said, the toll roads have resumed normal operations as of May 6th, and should contribute dividends in line with historical trends in H2.
