HK Alpha Portfolio returned -1.29% in December and outperformed the benchmark by 0.34%. The portfolio has outperformed Hong Kong indexes by 7.93% to 9.64% since its inception on 10/01/24.

At month-end we sold China Cinda Asset Management (1359 HK) , Citic Ltd (267 HK) , China Galaxy Securities (H) (6881 HK) and GDS Holdings (9698 HK) .

<li>We exit 4 positions at the end of the month and add positions in software, tech components, travel and restaurant sectors.</li>

<li>SOUTHBOUND gross trading activity dropped sharply but net SOUTHBOUND buying remains very strong and very broad-based. </li>
<li>The trend continues to be net buying of tech though Friday saw a lot of profits taken in Tech names by SOUTHBOUND holders.</li>
<li>I expect HK-listed tech to continue getting bought. Alibaba, Tencent, Xiaomi, etc are safe havens against Trump tariffs as they don't compete in the US. Still. </li>
