The Asia Monthly focuses on providing updates on recent events, information on new issues and spread movements, as well as summarising our top picks and discussing specific areas of interest in the “In-Focus” section. Azure’s Q2/19-20 results were softer than expected. Revenue and earnings missed expectations despite a surge in operating capacity. That said, the earnings call and additional information disclosure (as promised on the Q1/19-20 earnings call) were encouraging, helpful and reassuring to bond investors. The company’s two capital raises illustrate its access to capital in an environment where capital is at a premium and most peers are capital-constrained due to the ongoing liquidity crunch in India. We expect little ratings pressure.
