<p>When the market is oversold and I don’t know what to buy I will consider ETFs. But, to me, in this market, ETFs are WMDs. Take the sell-off in department stores and many retail stocks ex WMT recently. When ETFs rule, and a sector has poor results, all hell breaks loose when ETFs sell. And the stocks that disappoint get massacred.
