<li>Utilities have benefited from sector rotation among UK managers over the last year.  Typically an underweighted sector, managers are now overweight by 0.22% on average, the highest on record.</li>
<li>Over the last year, average weights have increased by +0.55%, the percentage of funds with exposure by +1.18% and 7.85% of the UK funds in our analysis moved to overweight</li>
<li>Nearly 2/3rds of allocations are in National Grid plc, SSE plc and Northumbrian Water, though UK managers are raising exposure to Centrica, Drax Group and United Utilities. </li>

<li>Indexes have plunged since violating our "lines-in-the-sand" of 3875 on EURO STOXX 50, 14,815 on the DAX, $54 on ACWI ex-US (ACWX-US), $75.25 on EAFE (EFA-US), and $99 on ACWI(ACWI-US).</li>
<li>More recently, Japan’s TOPIX broke below the key 1840 level, as the number of countries breaking down increases.</li>
<li>We remain bearish at the index level as long as these indexes continue to make lower highs, and we expect that any bottoming process would take weeks/months to develop.</li>

<li>These support levels are now breaking which tilts our stance to bearish at the index level as long as the aforementioned indexes remain below their previous support levels.</li>
<li>We still see the EURO STOXX 50 and TOPIX as holding above support, while the Hang Seng and Bovespa appear to be bottoming, none of which paint a bearish picture.</li>
