<li>KMW is the most important name in this rebalancing. It will be a newcomer to the K-New Deal, replacing AfreecaTV for Top Three in INTERNET.</li>
<li>KMW's inflow will be very substantial at 8.60x ADTV, whereas AfreecaTV will suffer an outflow equivalent to 1.69x ADTV.</li>
<li>In addition, HLB will replace Hanmi Science, and Seojin System will take over Danal. Webzen also replaces Devsisters.</li>

KRX K-New Deal September Rebalancing: Screening Results

<li>Eight stocks are highly likely to migrate with a substantial passive flow. Compared to the early phase of the screening period, GS Engineering &amp; Construction newly made the list.</li>
<li>Most names should show a quite substantial passive flow (x ADTV). In particular, KCC Corp and BGF Retail deserve our special attention for their expected passive impact.</li>
<li>The flow occurs on high potential migration stocks about 20 days before the effective date. So I would start building Long/Short Basket positions with the above eight names around mid-August.</li>

<li>Of the 176 Korean stocks in which NPS reported changes in ownerships in 2Q 2022, NPS increased its stakes in 115 companies and reduced stakes in 61 companies.</li>
<li>NPS mostly increased stakes in aerospace, defense, construction equipment, and energy sectors while reducing stakes in telecom and tourism related stocks.</li>

<li>There is an interesting situation brewing at the Hanmi Pharm Group, which is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Korea.</li>
<li>On 16 March, it was reported that Hanmi Pharm decided not to raise the agenda for re-appointment of CEO Lim Jong Yoon as an inside director at the Hanmi Science.</li>
<li>In terms of trading, there appears to be more upside in Hanmi Science (008930 KS) as compared to Hanmi Pharm (128940 KS) in the next several months.</li>
