The Index of Industrial Production (IIP) rose by an anemic 1.2% y-o-y in May 2016 after having declined by 1.3% y-o-y in April 2016. Exports and imports declined by 6.7% y-o-y and 23.1% y-o-y in April 2016 compared to a fall of 5.5% y-o-y and 21.6% y-o-y in March 2016 respectively.
