Japfa Comfeed has launched a sustainability-linked bond (SLB) transaction. The bonds are expected to be rated BB-/BB- by S&P and Fitch, on a par with the issuer ratings. The Notes will be unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Japfa Comfeed and 22 wholly owned subsidiaries accounting for 90.5% of total assets as of FYE 2020. We expect an issue size of c. USD 350 mn with a tenor of five years, and see fair value around 4.5%.
