<li>The December 2024 index review results for the BSE Sensex and BSE 100 Indices were announced after the close on Friday 22nd November 2024.</li>
<li>On the same day, the Bombay Stock Exchange announced several new names will be added to the Futures and Options (F&amp;O) segment resulting in multiple surprises among the index changes.</li>
<li>There will be one change for BSE Sensex and six changes for BSE 100 during the December 2024 index rebal event.</li>

The December 2024 index review results for the BSE Sensex and BSE 100 Indices were announced after the close on Friday 22nd November 2024.

Zomato (ZOMATO IN) will replace JSW Steel Ltd (JSTL IN) in the S&amp;P BSE SENSEX Index (SENSEX INDEX) at the close on 20 December.
This is the first of many potential inclusions for Zomato in local indices over the next few months and is due to inclusion of the stock in the F&amp;O segment.
Futures and options in Zomato (ZOMATO IN) start trading from the open on 29 November. Expect increased volatility in the short-term and an increase in traded volumes.

<li>The balance sheet deteriorated, with debt increasing and earnings softening. Liquidity also weakened.</li>
<li>While the company has guided for improvement in H2/24-25, it did not provide credible justification for this during the earning call besides noting that JSW raised selling prices in October 2024. </li>
</ul>
