The Idea-Driven Equities Analyses company (the IDEA!) is an employee-owned boutique providing independent investment research and financial consultancy services with a clear focus on the Benelux countries. The company was founded in the summer of 2007 by Henk Slotboom and Maarten Verbeek, both with more than 35 years of professional experience in the financial sector. The IDEA! differentiates itself by focusing on adding value through self-initiated in-depth, idea-driven investment research, as well as by bespoke research assignments for institutional investors, hedge funds and private equity. In addition, we provide market intelligence, strategic research and – together with our business partners – consultancy services to businesses. <li>Yesterday, Ahold Delhaize announced to have reached an agreement for the divestment of 87 Romanian stores with local Romanian supermarket company Annabella, which has over 30 years of history of operating in the Romanian market.</li>
<li>This divestment is in accordance with Ahold Delhaize’s post-closing obligations from the Romanian Competition Council (RCC), as announced on 3 January 2025 following the acquisition of Profi.</li>
<li>Of the 87 stores to be divested, 82 are currently operated by Profi, with the remaining five operated by Mega Image, Ahold Delhaize’s other supermarket brand in the Romanian market.</li>

Yesterday, Ahold Delhaize announced to have reached an agreement for the divestment of 87 Romanian stores with local Romanian supermarket company Annabella, which has over 30 years of history of operating in the Romanian market.
This divestment is in accordance with Ahold Delhaize’s post-closing obligations from the Romanian Competition Council (RCC), as announced on 3 January 2025 following the acquisition of Profi.
