We then apply our technical and quantitative tools to identify developing price trends. Once attractive trends are identified within a selected sector or group, we screen for individual stocks which we believe offer the best risk/reward profile. We provide a historical perspective that often reveals, through our long-term charts, how price patterns often repeat themselves over time.

Last week (Nov 20-24), at least on the surface, foreigners were lone investors who seem to have thought that the Korean stock market would continue to enjoy the current boom. Foreign investors have net purchased ₩515.8bil worth of stocks listed on KOSPI and KOSDAQ. In contrast, local institutions seem to have remained neutral as they have net purchased only ₩77.5bil worth of stocks.
