Technical Analysis

<li>Hong Kong is the weak link in Asia to short. Bear wedge set to break lower after the rally failed under the 21,000 sell resistance. Similar fate for the A50.</li>
<li>ASX met sub 7,400 zone to trim. Korea 327 sell zone, starting to unwind. NKY 28,300-500 sell zone at hand.</li>
<li>A number of markets are approaching sell levels in Asia and Europe. Does the SPX rise may fall short of 4,200? Third week in April is when bull energy dissipates.</li>

The analysis includes forecasted inclusions and exclusions to all major Asian indices that have significant amount of tracking assets, including estimates of passive buy/sell flow on the stocks. The service also provides commentary and impact of market consultations, ground rule changes, and other events (IPOs, spin-offs, M&A) that could lead to index changes and passive flow.

Periscope Analytics works with multi-strategy hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, stat arb trading groups and long-only investors that invest and trade in the Asia Pacific region with the data being used to trade index rebalances, avoid pre-positioning and passive flow, and to time entry into and exit from stocks.

<li>Due to the large size difference between the potential adds/deletes, there will be a large funding trade with passive trackers needing to sell over 0.5x ADV on many index constituents.</li>
