<li>We tabulate league table for top short by value and short as multiple of ADT, as well as weekly increases &amp; decreases in short value, short as multiple of ADT.</li>
<li>We highlight short interest changes in SK Hynix, Kakao, Samsung Electronics, Hybe, Hanwha Ind Sol, Lig Nex1.</li>

We analyzed the changes in short interest of KRX stocks as of May 9th which has an aggregated short interest worth USD6.4bn.

<li>There are 11 inclusions and 11 exclusions for the <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/kosdaq-150-index" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:31077:1" rel="noopener">KOSDAQ 150 Index (KOSDQ150 INDEX)</a> at the December rebalance to be implemented at the close on 8 December.</li>
<li>We had forecast most of the changes (10 adds and 9 deletes), so there are a few surprises. The inclusion of <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/sillajen-inc" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:22838:1" rel="noopener">SillaJen Inc (215600 KS)</a> is the biggest one.</li>
<li>The adds to the index become short sell eligible from the open of trading on 9 December while the deletions will not be short sell eligible from the same time.</li>

There are 11 inclusions and 11 exclusions for the KOSDAQ 150 Index (KOSDQ150 INDEX) at the December rebalance to be implemented at the close on 8 December.
We had forecast most of the changes (10 adds and 9 deletes), so there are a few surprises. The inclusion of SillaJen Inc (215600 KS) is the biggest one.
The adds to the index become short sell eligible from the open of trading on 9 December while the deletions will not be short sell eligible from the same time.

<li>The impact of passive trading will be much higher on the potential deletes as compared to the potential inclusions, though trade notionals are higher for the potential adds.</li>

<li>Among the additions, we should focus on Dear U and ISC, which have a balanced level of liquidity and flow, rather than those theme stocks with high volatility.</li>
<li>As for Nature Holdings, Eoflow, and Nextin, I suggest a more aggressive entry point due to low trading volume. Then, I'd basket-trade the deletions on equal weight.</li>
