A consortium of Samsung Group’s financial affiliates (led by Samsung SRA Asset Management) has won the bid to acquire Commerzbank Tower in Frankfurt, the tallest building in Germany. The building is priced at around ₩900bil (US$801mil). Creation of Samsung's Intermediate Financial Holding Co May Be Already in Progress

The Financial Supervisory Service and creditor banks assessed the credit risks of 602 Korean companies, each having a loan of at least KRW50bil, and selected 32 of them as restructuring targets of this year. 13 out of the 32 received a C grade for corporate workout while the rest received D for court receivership.
