<li>China has started to suspend nearly 2,000 food products from Taiwan to China as it protests a visit to Taipei by the US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.</li>
<li>While this move will negatively impact the food producers in Taiwan, this will positively impact some of the major F&amp;B companies in Korea that sell their products in China.</li>
<li>Korean F&amp;B companies such as Crown Confectionery and Lotte Confectionery will likely to benefit from this ban as it results in reduced competition from major Taiwanese food companies in China. </li>

<li>Of the 176 Korean stocks in which NPS reported changes in ownerships in 2Q 2022, NPS increased its stakes in 115 companies and reduced stakes in 61 companies.</li>
<li>NPS mostly increased stakes in aerospace, defense, construction equipment, and energy sectors while reducing stakes in telecom and tourism related stocks.</li>

<li>As expected, most of the KOSPI 200 deletions, except for Bukwang Pharm, significantly outperformed the KOSPI index today.</li>
<li>Those that fit the pattern shown in the last rebalancing are CJ CGV and Bukwang. The problem, however, is that they have potential events triggering their price to fall.</li>
<li>So, I suggest paying attention to Yungjin Pharm and SK Discovery, which also have a sizable level of short interest and are expected to have stable short-coverings by end-June.</li>

Its short interest is 4.10% of SO, and the short interest has increased the most over the past month.</li>
<li>The short-covering/price movement started to be observed from the end of the prior month. So, I'd consider building positions from the third week of this month.</li>
</ul>
