Prior to that, he also served as Kasikornbank credit analyst and scholar. He has a total work experience of 17 years, of which 14 were in research and 4 in research management roles. He started his career as an engineer for PTT and currently manages family investments. He holds an MBA from Stern (NYU) and CFA Charter since 2006. Though the general election has passed us by more than a month now, the formation of the new government remains clouded and uncertain. In this review, we point out a couple of things on the political front:  <ul>

A new compromise candidate has emerged in the form of Bhumjaithai's Anutin Charnvirakul, whose family owns Thailand's third largest contractor. MCorp Review believes that taking the top job is a bad idea for both business and his political career.</li>
<li>
Re-elections will happen in disputed constituencies where enough evidence is found to prove election fraud. This will further delay political resolution, though it has no impact on the actual running of the economy.</li>
<li>
Army Chief plays hardball against Future Forward secretary Piyabutr for his anti-monarchist stance. Tanatorn himself faces trial for media ownership. Let's just say the tension isn't good for anyone. </li>
<li>
Upcountry retailers should benefit in Q1'19. This is a normal knee-jerk reaction, because money flow to the voters during the election period. Buy CP ALL and Robinsons!</li>

Our condolences to all our Thai friends in your time of grief.Thailand is sailing into unchartered waters, considering that nearly everyone alive has only known one King and that his fiat power was immense, built up over years of devotion to the country.We expect that the Thai stock market will be hurt in the near term, but will eventually stabilize.
