Thomson Reuters (TRI) will replace ANSS instead. Reuters was considered to be in the category of financial data providers - alongside FactSet and S&P Global - hence classified under the financial sector and therefore ineligible for Nasdaq100. However, TRI appears to be under the technology sector, making it eligible. CRWV and KMB are now the top two candidates for addition in December 2025.
