<p>We were in India recently on a country research visit to talk to our contacts. The two questions on our mind (and we hope also Indian investors)  are first, is the cyclical downswing going to get worse before it gets better and when will a sustainable – private investment led recovery take root? Second, is the long-term positive India growth story still intact? The short-term outlook is dim is the answer to the first question, the answer to the second - yes. </p>
