Lee Family to Sell 2.6 Trillion Won in Samsung Companies to Pay for Inheritance Taxes

After the market close on 10 January, it was reported that the Lee family will sell a total of 2.8 trillion won worth of Samsung Group related shares, of which 2.2 trillion won (29.8 million shares) will be for Samsung Electronics shares through a block deal on 11 January (before market open).The sale price per share is a 1.2-2.0% discount from the closing price of 73,600 won on 10 January.
