<p>AP Moller Maersk (APMM) reported its 3Q19 numbers on 15 November, 2019. The group reported its second successive profit of USD 520 mn from continuing operations on a minor revenue growth of 1% yoy. Similar to Hapag-Lloyd, APMM’s profit was driven mainly by cost optimisation as its group EBITDA grew 14% from 3Q18 at USD 1.02 bn, and the group EBIT in 3Q19 stood at USD 737 mn.</p>
