Malaysia’s natural rubber (NR) sector entered June 2025 caught between momentary relief and deep-rooted fragility. Production climbed 5.9% from May to 25,679 tons, but remained 14.1% below June 2024’s 29,881 tons. Second-quarter output of 67,943 tons reflected a severe 28.6% contraction compared with the first quarter and an 11.5% year-on-year decline.
