Chinese purchases of US soybeans has stalled less than two weeks after the Trump/Xi meeting. After initial orders were made at the end of last month, China has paused purchases. The US has said that Beijing pledged to buy 12mm tons of soybeans by end of 2025 and 25mm tons annually for the next 3 years. China has not confirmed specific purchase commitments, but has reduced tafiffs on US soybeans.
