Details are better than the headline index suggests.</li><li>Most important is that the sub-index for order intake rose to 56.7. The index for order books stood at 58.6, up from 52.4 in October.</li><li>The sub-index for production declined, but remained healthy at 57.6. A drop in delivery times contributed to the lower headline index, while inventories were largely unchanged close to 50.
