<p>I would like to update the transitional measures for TSE market re-classification as discussed in my previous articles "Update on "Transitional Measures" for TSE Market Reorganization" and "A Simple Question and the Purpose of Improving Governance to Secure Prime Market Listing." On July 9, 2021, the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) announced the results of its initial assessment of compliance with the listing maintenance criteria for the new market segment. In response, many listed companies have disclosed information titled "Notice of Application for Selection of New Market Category "Prime Market (or Standard Market, Growth Market)". TSE is planning to shift from the current market segmentation to the new market segmentation of "Prime Market, Standard Market, and Growth Market" on April 4, 2022, with the review period from September 1 to December 30. Prior to that, the results of the selection of the new market segments will be announced to listed companies on January 11, 2022.</p>
