Over the past few years and more especially since the Great Financial Crisis (GFC), investors have become more focused on short-term market movements and real-time returns and have consequently neglected the analysis of the underlying structural themes that underpin longer term performance.

Not all the polls are out yet, but we generally agree that Hillary won narrowly. Trump had better grasps of foreign politics and exuded more confidence, but President (yes, trust me on this) Hillary won a vote from <em>MCorp Review </em>for superior <strong>thematic consistency </strong>(very important to us) and sportsmanship. The two candidates tied on economics, and no scores were awarded for emotional connection since this ain't no town hall format. At the end of the day, we regret to inform Trump supporters that well...he really shot himself in the foot yo. :(</p>
