<li>The Hong Kong Alpha portfolio underperformed its benchmark index during April by 1.1%.  Since its inception last year, the portfolio has outperformed its benchmark by 18%.</li>
<li>Although the tech sector was hit after April 2nd, the portfolio made 2% in its tech exposure for the month.  We reduced the portfolio's volatility &amp; increased its Sharpe ratio.</li>
<li>At the end of April, sold positions that are at risk from the tariff uncertainty and increased our exposure to China domestic consumption.</li>

<li>At the end of the first lock-up expiry, shares representing 727.1m (30.32% of outstanding) will be eligible for sale. However, there is a low risk of substantial sales.</li>
<li>The fundamentals remain good, with margin improvement, beverage’s fast-paced growth, narrowing of the margin gap with Nongfu and undemanding valuation.</li>

China Resources Beverage (2460 HK) trades 4.0% below its IPO of HK$14.50 per share. The first six-month lock-up period expires on 22 April.
At the end of the first lock-up expiry, shares representing 727.1m (30.32% of outstanding) will be eligible for sale. However, there is a low risk of substantial sales.
The fundamentals remain good, with margin improvement, beverage’s fast-paced growth, narrowing of the margin gap with Nongfu and undemanding valuation.

<li>CCASS data shows that Mr Wei has tendered (22.01% of outstanding shares). Including acceptances, ORG’s shareholding was 46.63% of outstanding shares as of 24 December.</li>
<li>The Board supports the offer, and it is close to being declared unconditional. At the last close and 25 January payment, the gross/annualized spread was 0.8%/10.9%.</li>
