*Reserve Bank of Australia’s No Action On BNPL:The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) released a Retail Payments Review on May 28, 2021 discussing among other items the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) model. Specifically, the RBA reviewed whether the BNPL model should continue with its ‘no surcharge rules’ whereby merchants are precluded from passing along BNPL fees to its customers. The RBA concluded that it will not require the BNPL sector to change its ‘no surcharge rules’; and  *Tencent’s Midas Touch: Tencent continues to hit it out of the park with its Afterpay stake. In addition to its superb return on investment over the past nine months since the stake announcement - -even after giving back some of its gains, this alliance with Australia’s premier financial technology BNPL company is paying dividends to Tencent in numerous other ways.

The company was majority owned by KKR prior to listing.AVC is the second largest pub group in Australia, it has a presence in New Zealand as well, with a total portfolio of 175 venues across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). AVC operates in the ANZ licensed venue market, which allows it to provide an array of services including provision of food and beverages, gaming and betting facilities, function rooms, live entertainment and accommodation.

The Offer consideration of $1.95/share is a 66% premium to last close. An interim dividend of A$0.04/share announced on the 18 February and to be paid on the 15 April will also be added. MOC's directors unanimously recommend the Scheme. In addition, directors holding an aggregate of 12.7% out have confirmed they will vote in favour of the Scheme. 
Save for standard Scheme conditions and FIRB approval, the Scheme is not subject to due diligence or financing conditions.
This looks like a done deal.

The Offer consideration of $1.95/share is a 66% premium to last close. An interim dividend of A$0.04/share announced on the 18 February and to be paid on the 15 April will also be added. The ex-date was the 25 February.
MOC's directors unanimously recommend the Scheme. In addition, directors holding an aggregate of 12.7% out have confirmed they will vote in favour of the Scheme. 
Save for standard Scheme conditions and FIRB approval, the Scheme is not subject to due diligence or financing conditions.
This looks like a done deal.
