With just over a week left to review cutoff, there could be three changes for the iShares A50 China (2823 HK)/ CSOP China A50 (HKD) (2822 HK) ETFs in March.

Guotai Junan Securities, Cambricon Technologies and SAIC Motor could replace CGN Power, Luzhou Laojiao and Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group.

Guotai Junan Securities (2611 HK) is expected to be added to the iShares China Large-Cap (FXI) (FXI US) in March, so there should be inflows for the A-shares and H-shares.

Haitong Securities (H) (6837 HK) and Haitong Securities (A) (600837 CH) shares will stop trading after 5 February following the merger with Guotai Junan Securities (2611 HK). 
There will be small buying in Guotai Junan Securities (2611 HK) at the close on 5 February and there should be more buying in the A-shares and H-shares in March.
There will also be a stock added to the Shanghai Shenzhen CSI 300 Index (SHSZ300 INDEX) to bring the number of index constituents back to 300.


Guotai Junan/Haitong Sec Merger: The Many Index Flows Around the Corner

The December review will use closing prices from 18 November to determine the list of stocks that will be included into and excluded from the ETFs.
As of the close on 15 November, we see NAURA Technology Group (002371 CH) replacing Huaneng Lancang River Hydropow (600025 CH) in the ETFs.

NAURA Technology has doubled in price this year, while Huaneng Lancang has corrected from its highs and could be deleted from the ETF in just one quarter.

Based on the close of 22 July, there could be two changes for the iShares A50 China (2823 HK) / CSOP China A50 (2822 HK) ETFs in June.

China National Nuclear Power and Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower could replace China Tourism Group Duty Free Corp Ltd and Yihai Kerry Arawana Holdings in the ETFs. 

China Tourism Group Duty Free (1880 HK) could be deleted from a global index in August, so there could be selling in the A-shares and H-shares.
