Yesterday (Jan 23) in a regulatory filing, both SK Holdings (034730) and LG Corp. (003550) said that they reached to an agreement on the sale of 51% stake in LG Siltron. SK Holdings paid ₩620bil (US$531mil) to acquire 51% stake from LG Corp. LG Siltron produces wafer which is one of the key materials for semiconductor production.
