<ul><li>Wilmar chairman Kuok, QAF MD Lin Kejian continue to build interests OCBC led the share buyback consideration tally, buying back 2 million shares at an average price of S$12.67 per share, followed by Olam Group, which bought back 7 million shares at an average price of S$1.08 per share.</li><li>Between Sep 13 and Sep 15, QAF joint group managing director and executive director Lin Kejian acquired 945,600 shares at an average price of S$0.824 per share.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Last week, the trio of DBS, UOB and OCBC averaged 3.4% gains, bringing their average 3Q23-to-date total return to 8.7%.</li><li>The 3Q23-to-date has seen the trio of DBS, UOB & OCBC report combined 2Q23 Net Interest Income (NII) of S$8.26 billion, marking the third-consecutive quarter that combined quarterly NII has been above the S$8.0 billion mark.</li><li>DBS Group Holdings (DBS), United Overseas Bank (UOB) and Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) also moved in tandem averaging a 4% gain on the week.</li></ul>

Global Banks Led Stocks on the Week with Arm IPO & Growth Outlook

<ul><li>Singapore stocks have booked net institutional fund inflow for three consecutive weeks ending 25 August.</li><li>With four trading sessions for the month remaining, August is poised to be the first month local stocks have booked net inflows since Nov 2022.</li><li>Back in November 2022, UOB posted a 12.4% return and booked the highest net institutional inflow in the Singapore stock market for that month with S$306 million of net inflow.</li></ul>

Singapore stocks have booked net institutional fund inflow for three consecutive weeks ending 25 August.With four trading sessions for the month remaining, August is poised to be the first month local stocks have booked net inflows since Nov 2022.Back in November 2022, UOB posted a 12.4% return and booked the highest net institutional inflow in the Singapore stock market for that month with S$306 million of net inflow.

<ul><li>Share buybacks by primary listed companies 18 - 24 Aug 2023 UOB led the share buyback consideration tally, buying back 360,000 shares at an average price of S$27.93 per share, followed by Sembcorp Industries which bought back 1,095,000 shares at an average price of S$5.35 per share.</li><li>Between Aug 17 and Aug 23, QAF joint group managing director and executive director Lin Kejian acquired 1,586,000 shares at an average price of S$0.80 per share.</li></ul>
