Periscope Analytics focuses on event-driven trades across Asia Pacific and provides comprehensive, timely and systematic coverage of index changes to major Asia Pacific indices in a structured manner.

The analysis includes forecasted inclusions and exclusions to all major Asian indices that have significant amount of tracking assets, including estimates of passive buy/sell flow on the stocks. The service also provides commentary and impact of market consultations, ground rule changes, and other events (IPOs, spin-offs, M&A) that could lead to index changes and passive flow.

Periscope Analytics works with multi-strategy hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, stat arb trading groups and long-only investors that invest and trade in the Asia Pacific region with the data being used to trade index rebalances, avoid pre-positioning and passive flow, and to time entry into and exit from stocks.

Douzone Bizon (012510 KS) has flipped from a passive sell to a passive buy over the last month and the stock could move higher from here.

<li>On 12 March, HYBE (352820 KS) announced that it is no longer pursuing S.M.Entertainment Co (041510 KS) in an M&amp;A battle with Kakao Corp (035720 KS).</li>
<li>This will result in a very high probability of Kakao winning the M&amp;A battle of SM Entertainment.</li>
<li>Many institutional investors are likely to have pushed back on HYBE's capital raising efforts, which seems to have been the clincher of HYBE backing out of this M&amp;A for SM. </li>

<li>The sale of Universe by NCSoft is a win-win situation for both DearU and NCsoft.</li>
<li>Applying a 25x P/E to an estimated net profit of 50 billion won in 2024 would suggest an market cap of 1.25 trillion won for DearU, representing a 52% upside. </li>
</ul>
