Periscope Analytics focuses on event-driven trades across Asia Pacific and provides comprehensive, timely and systematic coverage of index changes to major Asia Pacific indices in a structured manner.

The analysis includes forecasted inclusions and exclusions to all major Asian indices that have significant amount of tracking assets, including estimates of passive buy/sell flow on the stocks. The service also provides commentary and impact of market consultations, ground rule changes, and other events (IPOs, spin-offs, M&A) that could lead to index changes and passive flow.

Periscope Analytics works with multi-strategy hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, stat arb trading groups and long-only investors that invest and trade in the Asia Pacific region with the data being used to trade index rebalances, avoid pre-positioning and passive flow, and to time entry into and exit from stocks.

There were big net inflows to China ETFs with creations in CSI 300 Index ETFs and redemptions in ETFs tracking the CSI 500 Index and CSI 1000 Index.
Creations continued in the iShares Emerging Markets ex China (EMXC US) ETF with units outstanding reaching a new high.

<li>On 16 October, Douzone Bizon (012510 KS) announced that it is entering the global software-as-a service (SaaS) market in cooperation with Amazon Web Services (AWS). </li>
<li>The agreement stipulates that Douzone Bizon will develop global SaaS through AWS support and enter overseas markets. </li>
<li>We believe shares of Douzone Bizon have been oversold. Valuations have become more attractive and its cooperation with AWS is also likely to improve the company's overseas sales and profits. </li>

<li>After results were transitioned to non-public information, it has been observed that results are reflected in prices significantly later, with substantial price impact occurring close to the rebalancing trading day. </li>
<li>Even though the AUMs have recently decreased, the passive impact size is quite substantial, considering a recent pattern of price impact concentrating within a maximum of about two trading days.</li>
<li>A heavy Long-Short setup on these pairs, DearU / Douzone Bizon and SK Biopharmaceuticals / SK Bioscience (302440 KS), is something we should very actively consider.</li>
</ul>

<li>The changes to the LQ45/IDX30 were announced last week and will be implemented Monday. The PSE also announced that there would be no changes for the <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/philippines-stock-exchange-psei-index" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:22912:1" rel="noopener">PCOMP INDEX</a> in August.</li>
<li>There are a bunch of review cutoffs on Monday, most notably for the <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/nikkei-225" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:22909:1" rel="noopener">Nikkei 225 (NKY INDEX)</a>, <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/sse-science-and-technology-innovation-board-50-index" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:29279:1" rel="noopener">STAR50 INDEX</a>, the <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/nifty-index" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:23617:1" rel="noopener">NIFTY</a> family of indices and the KRX New Deal indices.</li>
