<li>Despite having several reasons not to support the revised offer, Effissimo eventually relented mainly due to potential damage to corporate value from a prolonged offer.</li>
<li>The revised terms are a done deal as Effissimo is supportive, and as of 8 January, the total tendered shares (47.07% ownership ratio) exceed the lower limit. </li>

The MBO price for Pacific Industrial (7250 JP) increased 4.0% to JPY3,036 (5.3% discount to the last close), and the lower limit was reduced to a 43.84% ownership ratio.
