Alpha Generation Through Share Buybacks in Korea: Bi-Monthly (October and November 2025)

<li>In this insight, we highlight the recent pricing gap divergences of the major Korean holdcos and opcos which could provide trading opportunities in 4Q 2025.</li>
<li>This was a STRONG REVERSAL of the relative share price performances of these 38 pairs in 3Q 2025 versus in 2Q 2025.</li>
<li>We provide four holdco/opco pairs that have experienced noticeable divergence in the past three months and we expect closing of their gaps could occur in the next several weeks</li>

In this insight, we highlight the recent pricing gap divergences of the major Korean holdcos and opcos which could provide trading opportunities in 4Q 2025.

Korean Holdcos Vs Opcos Gap Trading Opportunities in 4Q 2025

<li>In this insight, we discuss a pair trade between DL Holdings Co (000210 KS) (go long) and DL E&amp;C (375500 KS) (go short).</li>
<li>In the past three months, DL Holdings' share price is down 9.9% versus DL E&amp;C which is up 21%. We believe this gap has become too excessive.</li>
<li>The shares sold short volume/total traded volume ratio is more than double for DL E&amp;C versus DL Holdings from 31 March to 9 April. </li>
</ul>


In this insight, we discuss a pair trade between DL Holdings Co (000210 KS) (go long) and DL E&amp;C (375500 KS) (go short).
