Frasers Centrepoint Trust / Equity Bottom-Up

<ul><li>The STI March quarterly review will see Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT) added to the STI effective the Monday 18 March open.</li><li>FCT’s inclusion is expected to take the STI’s REIT Sector weight back to ~13% from ~12% at present, and the number of STI REITs back to seven, following Keppel DC REIT leaving the STI in June 2023.</li><li>Impacting the outlook for financing costs, this has seen the six STI REITs average 9.4% declines in unit prices post the indicative 29 Dec 2023 STI weightages.</li></ul>

<ul><li>THE iEdge S-Reit Index declined 5.6 per cent on a total return basis in the year to date, with declines also recorded in the FTSE EPRA Nareit Index series which track global Reits.</li><li>The 10 S-Reits which recorded largest net retail inflows in the year to date were Mapletree Logistics Trust, Keppel DC Reit, CapitaLand Ascendas Reit, Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust, CapitaLand China Trust, CapitaLand Ascott Trust, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust, Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust, CDL Hospitality Trusts, and ParkwayLife Reit.</li><li>These 10 S-Reits contribute S$250 million in net retail inflows, or nearly 90 per cent of the combined net retail inflows in the year to date.</li></ul>

<ul><li>CapitaLand Investment again led the buyback consideration tally, buying back 5 million shares at an average price of S$2.92 per share on Jan 26.</li><li>It also led the share buyback consideration tally in January, followed by Yangzijiang Financial Holding, Singapore Technologies Engineering, Venture Corporation and OUE.</li><li>Aside from Jardine Matheson Holdings, ComfortDelGro also ranked among the 10 stocks that booked the highest net institutional inflow in January.</li></ul>
