<p>In this insight, we take a look at the monthly performance of the trading opportunities surrounding TOPIX Index Rebalance events. During the month, we witnessed the Inclusion Events of cloud-based business accounting software company Money Forward (3994 JP), water treatment technology company Nomura Micro Science (6254 JP), and printed circuit board manufacturer Meiko Electronics (6787 JP). Furthermore, as discussed by Travis Lundy in July TOPIX FFW Rebalancing Trade, there were quarterly float adjustments for some constituents of the TOPIX Index which opened up a few trading opportunities. Below is a closer look at each of these situations.

<div><p>Devyani International Limited (DIL), Yum Brand’s largest franchisor in India, aims to raise around US$200m via its Indian IPO. The IPO will be a mix of primary and secondary shares. </p></div><div><p>DIL operates a chain of quick service restaurants (QSRs) in India. Its core business is to operate KFC, Pizza Hut and Costa Coffee in India. It operated 655 stores across 155 cities in India, as of Mar 2021. These include 264 KFC stores, 297 Pizza Hut stores and 44 Costa Coffee stores. It also operates stores in Nepal and Nigeria for KFC and Pizza Hut. In addition, it also runs its own brands Vaango, Food Street, Masala Twist, Ile Bar, Amreli, and Ckrussh Juice Bar in India. It is reasonable for those who understand how these things work in the U.S. And understanding how they work tells you what the supply looks like going forward. </p><p>And the timing of other parts of the context will tell you about McDs and TSE Prime.</p>
