<li>Oci Co Ltd (010060 KS)'s shares will be suspended from trading from 27 April to 26 May 2023.</li>
<li>After the spin-off and relisting of holdco/opco shares, we believe that there is a greater probability of OCI Co (opco) shares outperforming OCI Holdings (holdco). </li>

Oci Co Ltd (010060 KS)'s shares will be suspended from trading from 27 April to 26 May 2023.
After the spin-off and relisting of holdco/opco shares, we believe that there is a greater probability of OCI Co (opco) shares outperforming OCI Holdings (holdco).

<li>Total short notional of the KOSPI and KOSDAQ market has moved up since end-December and is in line with the move higher in the <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/korea-stock-exchange-kospi-200-index" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:26021:1" rel="noopener">KOSPI2 INDEX</a> and <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/kosdaq-150-index" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:31077:1" rel="noopener">KOSDAQ 150 Index</a>.</li>
<li>Short notional in Taiwan is lower over the quarter even as the <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/taiwan-stock-exchange-weighted-index" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:26056:1" rel="noopener">TWSE INDEX</a> has moved higher over the period. There has been big short covering on some stocks.</li>

Short notional in Taiwan is lower over the quarter even as the TWSE INDEX has moved higher over the period. There has been big short covering on some stocks.

<li>The critical question now is whether the juice remains until the effective date. From what I can see, there is still some juice left.</li>
<li>This is because it is generally observed that the flow trading window for this event tends to continue beyond the effective date.</li>

<li>We would short a basket of potential exclusions from KOSPI 200 rebalance which would include the bottom 5% of KOSPI 200 index (10 stocks).</li>
<li>We would go long a basket of potential inclusions in KOSPI 200 rebalance which include four stocks including Dentium, Jeju Air, Samyang Foods, and DGB Financial. </li>

<li>Stocks migrating from SmallCap to MidCap have outperformed stocks that are migrating between other categories.</li>
</ul>


The review period for the March rebalance of the KOSPI Size Indices ends 28 February. The results will be announced early March and implemented at the close on 9 March.
