<li>The BIG SELL is <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/t-d-holdings-inc" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:3431:1" rel="noopener">T&amp;D Holdings (8795 JP)</a>, which surprised me. The top BUY is <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/rohm-co-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:2953:1" rel="noopener">ROHM Co Ltd (6963 JP)</a> which was not on the Quiddity Leaderboard.</li>

The BIG SELL is T&amp;D Holdings (8795 JP), which surprised me. The top BUY is ROHM Co Ltd (6963 JP) which was not on the Quiddity Leaderboard.
Otherwise, the ADDs and DELETEs are 1.8-2.0 days of ADV, there are several NEW CAPs and some RECAPS among LARGE CAPS

JPX Nikkei 400 Index Rebalance: Some Big Impact Names

<li>There have been big net inflows into China focused ETFs and outflows from Taiwan focused ETFs during the week.</li>

There should be three index changes, potential stepwise inclusion, no <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/fast-retailing-co-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:751:1" rel="noopener">Fast Retailing</a> capping and a big funding trade.</li>
<li>There appears to be decent positioning on the potential adds, while it is the close adds that are spiking along with a big increase in traded volumes.</li>
<li>If the three changes are on expected lines, estimated one-way turnover at the rebalance is 2.01% resulting in a one-way trade of JPY 461bn (US$3.24bn). </li>

The review period for the Nikkei 225 (NKY) September rebalance ended yesterday. There should be three index changes, potential stepwise inclusion, no Fast Retailing capping and a big funding trade.
There appears to be decent positioning on the potential adds, while it is the close adds that are spiking along with a big increase in traded volumes.
If the three changes are on expected lines, estimated one-way turnover at the rebalance is 2.01% resulting in a one-way trade of JPY 461bn (US$3.24bn).

<li>This would make Toshiba an equity-method affiliate of Rohm, facilitating synergetic cooperation in power semiconductors. The investment is large, but Rohm would still have a sound balance sheet.</li>
<li>Rohm also plans to buy Solar Frontier's Kunitomi factory to meet SiC power device capacity requirements through 2030. Investors can now focus on profit growth, which should resume next year.</li>
</ul>
