<li>We highlight weekly changes in A-H premium for MCC, China Merchants Securities, Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank, CNOOC, Cgn Power, Baiyunshan Pharma.</li>

We analyse the changes of A-H premium on 160 stocks over the last week. The average A-H premium was 63.7% as of Dec 12th.
The average A-H premium changed by 1.1ppt week-on-week, led by real estate, energy, information technology and offset by communication services.
We highlight weekly changes in A-H premium for MCC, China Merchants Securities, Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank, CNOOC, Cgn Power, Baiyunshan Pharma.

<li>Better outlook at <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/shenzhen-expressway-co-h" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:2875:1" rel="noopener">Shenzhen Expressway (548 HK)</a> and margin improvement for logistics hubs will drive FY25. Upside will come from further gains at South China Logistics Park. </li>
<li>SZI's valuations of 5.9x PER, 8.4% yield, and 0.5x P/B for FY25F are attractive. As more deals are sealed to realise its asset value, its P/B discount will narrow.</li>

While Shenzhen International (152 HK)'s FY24 result is at the low end of the positive profit alert range, its 2H24 net profit has still grown by 22.7%. 
Better outlook at Shenzhen Expressway (548 HK) and margin improvement for logistics hubs will drive FY25. Upside will come from further gains at South China Logistics Park. 
SZI's valuations of 5.9x PER, 8.4% yield, and 0.5x P/B for FY25F are attractive. As more deals are sealed to realise its asset value, its P/B discount will narrow.

<li>Its 8.8% stake in Air China Cargo is now valued at HK$10.6bn, or 61% of its market capitalisation, suggesting its other assets are almost free.</li>
<li>Government approval on the South China Logistics Park transformation Phase I has been obtained, implying potential land value gains to be booked. </li>

<li>By way of its 54.79% ownership in <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/zheshang-securities-co-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:29981:1" rel="noopener">Zheshang Securities (601878 CH)</a>, <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/zhejiang-expressway-co-h" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:2178:1" rel="noopener">Zhejiang Expressway Co H (576 HK)</a> is an attractive indirect vehicle to access the mainland securities sector.  </li>
<li>The attributable market cap of Zheshang equals 90% of ZJE's market cap, implying that the toll road business is almost free. However, Zheshang only contributed 16% of ZJE's 1H24 profit.</li>
<li>ZJE trades on 6.7x FY24F PER, vs. 31.3x for Zheshang and 17.6x for H-share securities companies. A stable toll road business also minimises the risk for ZJE.</li>
</ul>


By way of its 54.79% ownership in Zheshang Securities (601878 CH), Zhejiang Expressway Co H (576 HK) is an attractive indirect vehicle to access the mainland securities sector.  
The attributable market cap of Zheshang equals 90% of ZJE's market cap, implying that the toll road business is almost free. However, Zheshang only contributed 16% of ZJE's 1H24 profit.
ZJE trades on 6.7x FY24F PER, vs. 31.3x for Zheshang and 17.6x for H-share securities companies. A stable toll road business also minimises the risk for ZJE.
